If someone asked you "how much money would it take for you to feel rich?" what amount would you tell them? Would it even be a number with a dollar or euro sign in front of it? Maybe it would be a number that represented how many children you had or how many times you had been blessed in your life. We're getting a little off topic here in a way but in order to set out on a mission like "getting rich" it's important to have a clear picture in your mind of what that is to you. Otherwise, you may live your entire life feeling unsatisfied and unsuccessful when really you had it all from the beginning, you just maybe didn't realize it.
Ok, forget the quick part
So in the opinion of many very smart and successful people there is no such thing as getting rich quick short of winning the lottery. You ask any number of successful people and they will tell you what it took them to accumulate a lot of wealth and you will hear the same responses time and time again and here is one basic version:
- have a PLAN
- work long hours in YOUR BUSINESS
- hire and assemble the BEST TEAM you can
- stay ahead of your competition in INNOVATION and SERVICE
- a little LUCK NEVER HURTS
"I honestly think it is better to be a failure at something you love than to be a success at something you hate." George Burns
The above example, is based around the premise that you want to own your own business. The list is short and concise requiring no explanation, just do it. The quote from George Burns can add a very nice touch to your plan. By doing what you love, while pursuing your riches then even if you never get rich you had a great time trying!
There are always going to be other ways to accumulate wealth but the method above will work. One of the other ways involves years in college and choosing the right field of study, like plastic sugery or corporate law and still another way is professional class clown. Jim Carrey was extremely funny while in school and went on to profit from it later.
